HDSB Gr 2 French Immersion Registration is open from December 1 2024 to January 31 2025

In the Halton District School Board, students can begin French Immersion in Grade 2, where 100% of the instructional day is taught in French. 


If you are interested in registering your Grade 1 child(ren) for the French Immersion program, further information and resources are available on the HDSB website:



Registration is open from Dec. 1 until Jan. 31 and can be completed through the Google Form. All students who are registered during this time will take part in the French Immersion program. 


Please note the form will open on Dec. 1. 


To register, families will need to know which French Immersion school your child would attend based on your home address. Use the HDSB’s Find My Local School tool to determine this information.
